Default Had any Barn finds?

Anyone else had some good barn or garage finds? Love hearin about old Fords been found after lyin unknown for years and gettin a new lease of life

I'll start ball rolling....

Was storing my S2 at girls dads mates farm and farmer gave my old man a tour of the farm and in one of the outhouses was a mk1 Cortina 2dr with 13k on the clock Old man is just tryin to buy it as we speak

Ran out of petrol one day and pulled in to put some in the car....glanced over a wall and theres a mk1 Fiesta van lyin in a barn made some enquiries and got it for £20 never welded and outstanding condition

My old man just found a mk1 Escort 1300 GT as well in an old lads garage

Anyone else? Pics would be good as well - just tryin to find some myself

When I was in the Aircooled VW scene, there was a VW Split Screen Single-cab pickup found in a barn. As I remember it, the story was that the old boy bought it new in the 1950's, but never told his wife. It ended up tucked away in a barn and he eventually passed away. It was only found in recent years when a plane crashed into the barn!!

It had something like 250km on the clock.

Last I heard was that it was restored and trailered to shows. I dread to think how much it is worth.

My mate found a beige mark 2 rs2000 in a barn. He got it out, got it running and we took it to santa pod and clocked a 16.3 quarter mile in it a few weeks later The tyres on it were still 10 years old too

Just remembered found a mk2 Granada as well once, huge massive barn with the Granny parked in the corner - went back recently and its away - reckon the banger boys got it

And just got told of another mk1 fiesta lyin unloved - have to uplift it - apparently i'm doing the old dear a favour by taking it away

I know where supposedly the first Mk1 Escort Estate off the production line at Fords is being kept, also there is a perfect as new example of a Lotus Cortina there too!

NO fucking pics though, can't risk it getting recognised!

A year or two back someone had a 3dr that had been kept in barn. The windows had been down and there was bird shit all over the outside and interior. Cleaned up well though. There were loads of pics on here. Anyone else remember it or have a link to the thread?

Now this is a barn find ...

it's a Portugese site but just scroll down and look at the pictures. Aparently the guy bought the farm with this sealed up building and this is what he found when he opened it up.
