Hi, check under the centre of the car, there is often a main power connector hidden by a small metal plate, if this gets corroded you will get no connection to the engine bay, just pull apart and clean, then seal up again.

Had a similar problem with a Toad imobiliser.
In the end I had to remove it
Took me all day to figure out and find all the wires and access them
behind the dash.
Generally once you find all the joins you can suss out how the thing
is wired by linking wires with the identical colour code together.
Its not quite as simple as that as there will be extra wires for power
and door monitoring etc..
Call a specialist to remove it and save yourself future grief.

I've had similair goings on before where an immobiliser got out of sync with the door locks so would arm when you opened the doors and disarm when you locked the doors
Try locking the door with the key then using the keyfob to unlock the car, just may work.
HTH,
Gareth

UPDATE....
..all fixed
...i noticed the interior lights wernt working nor the red lights on the doors when opened.....it had blown the fuse...now the door lights were connected to the led lights in the door which show wether the immobiliser is armed, what had happened the electric window got caught up with the wires on its way down and caused a short and blew the interior lamp circuit...so replaced fuse put it all back together and we have LIFE
SECS cheers for your suggestion which was like the profit of doom
MIKE R its only got an immobilisor no battery in fob how it works i dont know
Cheers folk.

From what you've said, it'll likely be a passive transponder Phil, no batteries to worry about - until the main box goes, then you'll be taking SECS advice.
