What do you mean tyres with no side to them
#53
The Falkerns have hardly any rim protection to them...
The wheels in std trim are ET45 (Focus fitment) but i have a 5mm spacer on front to clear the AP's, the rears are having 15mm spacers made with hub rings so the wheel sits properly on the hub face

what it is you can never have too many wheels when doing track days as the do get beaten about sometimes not only that i have wets/slicks /intermed
road tyres so it always handy to have spare sets of wheels
if it rains on track and we don't got out then you wont get a re-fund so we have to make the most of it so have wheels with wets on is ideal get me

the best thing to do is, my car is at scottys come down one saturday and we can try them on and see if they would be ok
i'm not sure about et 30 without rear arch mods

i may do that mate, aslong as steve wouldn't mind, are you ther most weekends working on it then?
what's the best set up then offset wise, wana have the car at standard height, same sort a offset as matts, so they fit flush with the wings, not sticking out or to far in.
if you understand that

at one time i had et 40 on the rear and they were 8 x17 with 235/40-17's these use to catch the arch slightly only because of the suspension was to soft
in all honesty the ideal ones were the ones that Steve use to have which were 7.75 on the front and 8 on the rears and i know for a fact they wouldn't have needed any arch mods at all but i dont know the off set of steves old wheels
i'm sure he can shed some light on the subject
