Default first time cossie owner needing advice

i have not yet owned a cosworth.i am unsure as what type is best to buy for a first time owner.2wd?4wd?escort cosworth?or a focus rs?.anyone offer advice please?thanks

depends how you drive how much you want to spend on it m8 2wd saff are a hand full i went from a xr2 to a 2wd saff dont regret it one bit

Buying a Focus RS if you want to be a first time Cosworth owner wouldnt be wise, for obvious reasons

I thnk this could end up being a very long post. You need to firstly decide for youself what your buying it for (i.e. everyday car, show car, track car etc), then I'm sure you'll get some good advice from the users of PF as to which car would be best suited.

2wd saff, just take it easy til you get used to it, then you can boot it as much as you want

it would be a weekend car.and some thing that will not breakdown everytime i put the foot down.and i live in spain if that helps,lol.so i want to buy the car from uk and drive it home to spain.

personally a 2wd, biest as thats what i got.

i would say a 4wd .. keep it at around 300-330 bhp should be plenty reliable .. mine has had a hard life and only broken the original standad turbo at 102000 miles.. now got a bigger one starts first turn of the key very time..

if i buy a standard 2wd or 4wd cossie .i do want to show off in it.sideways etc.but i hear you cant get a standard 2wd and 4wd sideways that easy???or was i told wrongly?

i think your better off going sideways iin a 2wd saph as its alot easier
