Default Karting in the Reading/Oxford/Basingstoke area?

I'm trying to organise a Karting event with some mates from work, found this place in Reading

http://www.premier-karting.com/indoo...g-go-karts.htm

but look at the price, it'd be £80 a couple just for the cheapest event! Anyone know of anywhere cheaper in the Reading/Oxford/Basingstoke area?

Ive organised it a few times for me and my mates in Aylesbury. We done the corporate event and it worked out around 40 quid each between five of us . That was a team event where you race against other companies and do pit stops to change drivers through the race. Think it was around a 2 1/2 hour race so you get 30 mins each in car plus a bit of time in the practice session.

Id phone them up and pretend your organising it for your company its not like they are gonna check that its a proper company.

pretty sure its still there. I went early 2006 and had a call from them a few months ago asking whether we want to do another event.

I like the outdoor track at Oxford http://www.kartingoxford.co.uk/

Karting outdoors is so much more fun, it's fairer because you don't have such a weight advantage/disadvantage and you have more fun if it's wet

If your going Karting there is only one place worth going imho

http://www.buckmore.co.uk

Buckmore Park is a 1200m International outdoor kart circuit catering for sports, corporate and hire-kart drivers aged 8 to 80 years. Established in 1963, facilities include a state-of-the-art conference centre and the biggest fleet of hire-karts in the country. Nestling within picturesque Kentish woodland, this superb karting venue is located just off the M2 in Kent – only 15 minutes drive from the M25.
