Doji/Tiff, it's a make of random orbit sander/polisher (looks like, but is NOT an orbital type).
I use a Festo - quite a bit more expensive than the Porta Cable but much better build quality (+ a 10 year warranty), will post up some pics a bit later.

Clay get all the crap of the paint and preps it etc. I have only just done this for the first time and i was impressed!!! but you dont just clay a car you have to go over it with other stuff then
Porter cable is as Doug said! Dont wax your car with orbital as they swirl like fook imo Only thing is your arms kill afterwards if you do a couple of coats with different products like i did in one go But you get a MUCH better finish than if you was to do it by hand!

No it's a bit more advanced than that. Talking absolutele ultimate shine/mirror gloss levels using progressive grades of polish (coarse to fine in sequence)......
Example of my Festo mirror finnishing work with 3 grades of polish on MDF loudspeaker cabinets that were painted in cheap black cellulose (4 thick coats):

The Meguires stuff is good and available all over the place here. If you get really stuck let me know and I am sure I can send some over. The bottle and clay bar are about 12 quid all up and do a fantastic job, especially on over spray/bugs etc.

I bought it to do the 24 pairs of piano black cabinets (Limited Edition), so I thought it would never be used again..........
I would say a car would take at least 6 hours...............But best to ask those that have done a few.
