Go to any coffee shop apart from the grasshopper they sell cheap crap and charge a fortune.

Any street in rld is good haha apart from staryin too far from cuty centre as u'll se things u really dont wanna see lmfao

Coffee shops are ok and pretty laid back and cater well for the tourist trade, as for flange hwo much you got to spend Dan??

Plenty of wrong uns around so dont go getting lost on your own or you could be wakeing up with a sore arse and a funny taste in your mouth

best coffee shops are out of the center.

Most of the "local" ones dont like tourists - especially the english. If you can come accross as a sound person they will sort you out with some seriously good shit at a decent price!y
Also in the red light district watch out for the fat black africans... they will literatly try and drag you in off the street. Not fun. Not fun at all!

Oh that's happend a few times In Feb.

I remember it well. And we ended up in Tranny Alley some how.

What about Night life? Fancy going to a club but I assume day before NYE/ NYE is gonna be expensive.

tryand get out of amsterdam and go to mastrik further down holland home to the largest coffee shop in holland and its on a boat its the bo@@ocks and it is fully airconed so you dont feel like like cant breathe after hours

as for clubs check out versuz top club bit of a trek but well worth it

Not sure where to spend NYE yet, dont' wanna spend mega bucks in a club, so may go Leidseplein, or stay in Dam Square.

I found the The Bulldog and La Kana were both good Coffee shops and very friendly! As for the black guys, well in the space of 400 yards I got asked 10 times if I wanted Coke or Pills! Some excellent places to go get munchies from and lots of walking after!

Teaserz was meant to be good but was shut when we were there! don't know if it's opened again,
We were the for England first world cup game this year watched in the newcastle bar was a good crack!
don't buy anything from the blacks in the alley mate bought some charles n it was utter shite!
to messy to remember much else apart from the live shows and the hooks

Barneys breakfast bar, if you cant get in there for food, around the corner is popeyes also for brekkys and right opposite is PINK FLOYD which is a MUST go to

Last time we went, we stayed at the greenhouse effect, which is a chilled out place, with D&B dj's at weekends, right in the RLD



TRY AND FIND THE DAMPKRING a little dingy place with SMALL seats, but excellent greenery
