Whats the procedure for this again and what forms are needed?

go to post office get a v62 form (that is the correct one if i remember rightly) fill it in then send off to dvla.Thats basic jist of it,but do some enquires 1st bell up dvla and best go to police,see if theres anything on it

it all worked for me

eh wat, you see a car somewhere that looks like it could be dumped and you can just apply for the logbook

if you get it does that mean your the owner then?

I have found an abandoned S1 sitting round the corner from me - been there for "years" so called the DVLA and went through the process - going to collect it tonight now i am the lawful owner ......

i've got laods of dumped cars round my way
they normally leave them in the sports centre car park across the road, and if they aren't collected they get torached the next day normally

seen the dvla transit camera van up my road the other day,seen about 5 cars clamped,loads of untaxed uninsured shitters getting crushed,about time
