I love not breaking down and worrying about, diffs, boxes, sensors, drive shafts, prop shafts, big ends, turbos, oil leaks, split boost pipes, split inlets, worn bushes, etc etc etc........

That is a lot of worry I can do without........

Its like the old "treat em mean, keep em keen" saying...

Funny, I was thinking the same thing.

I've got the MR2 turbo, and even though it's stage 1 cossie quick, it doesn't have that extra ingredient, so I was thinking cossie again.......

However, tonight I was out playing in my brother's Z3M Coupe and like fuck am I going back to a cossie! I have no idea why I wasted so much time and money on the cossie scene, building a car that still isn't as good as the BMW and with zero class.

The beemer does everything my stage 3 saff does but at least twice as well, and with just so much more panache! It's just as quick in a straight line, the chassis is in a completely different league, the interior is lovely. It's comfortable, quick, and classy. Granted, it's much more expensive, but the premium is worth it.

It's the difference between dating a council estate tracksuit wearing slapper, and a La Senza underwear model. They may both be fuckin fantastic in the bedroom, but you know which one you'd rather be seen out with.

What a load of Pony, if you think driving about in a Z3M gives you class then youre wrong, i for one would think youre a homosexual if i saw you, I would then proceed to absolutely smash you in the Cossie
Its going to the shows n meets and things like that which drove me back to Cossie ownership.
Ideal scenario would be a BMW M for everyday use and a Cossie sat in the garage for weekends n summer, sadly I couldnt afford both so i had a choice to make and I chose the Cossie......never looked back either TBH

ford blinkers! you cant bring yourself to brake the three door tho, that must tell you something.
anyway the front porch(midlife crisis mobile ) has done about as many miles as the escort this year

for me i think there are names you want ,cosworth, gtr skyline or any of the supercar badges.

Maybe not tons of class, but a fuck load more than driving round in a Sierra with a bean tin exhaust on the back. Imagine driving the cossie up to the door of a classy hotel with the missus And just for you northerners, no, the Premier Travel Inn is NOT classy

Yeah, and a 320bhp BMW Coupe is really gay What on earth do you think you look like driving a sapphire Cosworth with dump valve or whatever up and down your high street. Goon

You wouldn't smash me in the cossie unless you had more power..... which proves that you've.... er... got more power? Well done. Because driver's cars are all about 500bhp and a crap chassis ? Quick, someone get on the phone to Lotus and give em Mr Brannen's number!

You're right about the north/south divide though. You'd rather have a noisy old clapped out Sierra, and I'd rather have the BMW. I rest my case

There is NOTHNING in the current Cosworth / RS scene that would ever make me buy another Ford again!

Been there, done that and now moved on.
