hi im intrested in going further with my escort cossie after getting bored of the stage 3 and not wanting to add silly things on for small gains id rather start a fresh build.thats what i want your advise on.the ideal engine power and spec for an excellent fast road and occasional track day engine??i know that over 500hp will be laggy and useless or so i presume?i recon ive got around 360hp at the moment.ive big brakes and coilovers etc.can i have the details and views on this please?the power limit youd recommend and the best spec.its just a toy but it still has to be sumwhat reliable.and ive got a stronger box and diffs.i was also thinking of adding anti-lag to the next unit so id hopefully get alot less lag.

for all round....u've proberly got a good mix....but more for track imho would mean smallr turbo(less power) and less spool up....but for the road... the world iz ur lobster...!!!!!..it's ur car...so what do u think???? as long as u drive a big power car in the right gear...it's as good on the track/road as any small turbo car.....if it's lagy...change gear

its a stage castle performance t34b,low comped,mahle pistons,new rods fresh crank blahedey blah.....greys,26psi,bd 10 and standard cam.i just want a bit more surge like a bit more animal like.i would prefer being a bit scared of the car to be honest.
