I'm not on the side of any tuner mentioned as I haven't used them before and tbh I don't plan to, I know what they are capable of IF the right amount of money is supplied, however I believe IF I supplied a truck load of money to ( any competent tuner ) and said I wanted 200mph up brunters he would make my wish come true, it wouldn't happen in a week but it would eventually.
2 Problems above are
a: I dont and wont ever have a truck load of money
b: I'm not that fussed about 200mph
Mark has built several awesome engines which have gone on to put down some amazing times, however not often have I seen a car that goes that well in a straight line and performs as well at going round corners, I am quite sure Mark could easily build one, it just seems his customers from PF are only interested in one thing though.
Good luck to Martin who might actually of built something that will break 200, accelerate like a rocket and still manage to hassle most things on track

No, its not a here we go again thread, Rod doesn't need anymore bigging up at all.
This is about the people who are on this board. I see so many people out to knock Rod, and as if you say, his records only stands because he has nitrous, then I'm sure every Rod knocker on here would strap a bottle of nitrous to their motor and give rod a run for his money. The fact they havent could mean that perhaps its a bit harder than that to do it.
There are lots of people who can talk the talk, and very few who actually can walk the walk. Im not saying any of the Reyland gang, or others etc can not do a 200mph run, but it isnt as easy as you make out. Both Rod and Mark have been very dedicated to this task. I certainly know several other people who have thrown vast sums at money at cossies, way in excess of Rods budget and not made them run at 200, it really isnt just a case of throwing money at it. There is a degree of engineering required to make the little shiny metal bits hold together and work together to accomplish this.
Im sure Reyland monster cossie will be a very fast car, and more than likely crack the 200mph limit and probably beat Rods record. Thats great and I wish him all the best. For Rod he's just set out to do 200mph on a budget and has managed to do that. Remember 5th gear, those clowns threw more money than sense at a car to try and hit 200 and failed so miserably.....it was pathetic.
What does annoy me is when people post comments like MAD fudges dyno figures, that is blatantly untrue and IMHO, should be removed by moderators. Statements like that which could damage his business are inappropriate. I could be wrong but I think the moderators on here are responsible for what is posted and statements like that are a libel case waiting to happen.
In comparison to this, Ive seen threads on here which allude to the dodgy stuff that we all try not to talk about on here, [removed at request], Rods alleged height disadvantage and so on which the mods would jump on and remove immediately and start handing around the bans.....probably just like the one I've "won".
