I do Nice feeling when you put yourself to help others. Anyone else do it ?

 

ive done it 14 times now, where i used to work they had the blood mobile come for a few days, twice a year.

since i have left there tho i havnt done it

 

done it few times,but aint done it 4 a whuile now!!!!

 

I used to go with the Ex but when we split up i stopped going for a while. Started going again about 2 years ago. 16 times now, 4 off a new badge

My mom does and has done for a long time.. quite honestly if I wasn't shit scared of needles I would too.

Neither am I. I had a blood transfusion after having my son so I can't give blood now.

I had also thought about becoming a bone marrow doner but again you have to be eligible to give blood to give bone marrow.

I think the only place that lets you give bone marrow when the national blood service won't accept you is the Nolan Trust.

I used to give blood all the time but now it would appear that I'm a risk due to the possibility that having had a blood transfusion I could now pass on CJD to people as it's not something that can be tested for when they do the routine checks on your blood.

Oh well nice to know I might end up with CJD
