Yep its is Matt

My old man was big into building racing minis etc but always had fords as well and still does to this day, the other side of my family have been into them as well mostly with 3i's and turbos

Get yourself a MK1 as you wont be happy if you dont

P.S did you ever get that inlet hose I sent you ??

i was never bothered about Fords, id always been a Vauxhall fan for over 10 years.
Was never even bothered by RS's or Cosworths atall and for some reason when a mate came round about 2 years ago in his Escort Cossie i just got hooked.

Brand new Vectra Gsi was sold back to a local dealer within weeks and i got my first Escort Cossie, 2 years later and ive had 2 Escort Cossies & 2 Sierra 3dr Cossies and its now definetly in my blood!

Would love a Mk1 mate but i wont be getting one, it was just seeing that that stirred up the old RS thing again.

And yes i did get that hose and forgot to thank you for sending it me free of charge
No worries mate , felt a bit guilty TBH after you buying the S2 turbo brake setup

Im mainly into vauxhalls, for the simple reason that in 9/10 circumstances they have better engines than the ford equivalent car, the exception being the cossie, but to be honest i think of that as a cosworth not a ford anyway TBH.

I'll say this much though, based on this site compared to the vauxhall site i normally use (migweb.co.uk) ford owners seem to know a hell of a lot more about tuning their cars.

Defo! The folkes went through a bunch of capri's the best one being the mk1 3.0s, me brother started in a mk3 escourt as did I, and went on to own a cortina with triple carbs, and xr2, and thats about as high up the ladder as he got, I started off with the mk3 1.3 escourt, a sweet little car, then went onto a 1.6 orion, which was a pain in the aRSe, then had a 2.0 mondeo si, that was a very reliable solid car which was sold to my sister, then onto the present day with me saff 4x4
