Ian was planning on making an arse of Jane in front of everyone by telling them she slept with Grant. He was also going to make an arse of Peggy because he made her put on a big wedding spread and then wasn't going to pay for it. He had a card with a note to Peggy which he was supposed to give her after the "wedding" but he was far too smug and gave her the card but said open it later. Phil thought summat was up so while waiting for the bride he whipped the card out of peggys bag and opened it. He txt jane saying what ian was planning and she never came to the wedding
