the gti doesnt have 130 bhp

its a 1.8l 115bhp engine

the same as the 1.8 115bhp Si

unless you got the 1.6 95bhp Si?

only the XR3i and Si cabriolet had 130 bhp!

If yours is a 1.8 zetec, get 130bhp you need the 130 spec cams, throttle body and ECU

He's done a Escos to RS2000 so a simple Si to Gti shouldn't be a prob!

I bought an SI and then realised I wanted a GTI. Then I put a magnex exhaust on, some different rims, fitted an induction kit and lowered it. And now it aint an SI or a GTI.

Dont conform, make your own car up, I thought that was half the fun. Obviously ive not finished, but half the cars on here arn't really the model they started as, and 9 times out of 10 (minus the odd crazy ebay add where someone has completely destroyed a perfectly good ERST etc), the mods make it better.

or just do what dvid suggests if your set on a GTI, much less messing about! lol

My bro's missus has a GTi and it's proved to be a cracking car. With a few choice mods it makes 143bhp (on the Ego Buster ).
