Default Fezza RST help

Im going to loo at a fezza RST later on to buy as my first car and i was wondering if anyone has any tips on what to check on the car and any advice on ANYTHING that will help avoid buying a piece of shit example.

I know the basic's, check oil cap for white sludge etc..etc....but is there any checks that apply especially to the FRST that i should really pay attention to?

Thanks

rust on door sills
hidden rust on arches behind bodykit
petrol cap area for rust/bad repairs
rear suspension turrets for rust (lift up the carpet)
blue smoke when you revv the car on idle when warm
blue smoke when car is floored on boost
welding/rust on the floorpan underneath
get underneath and check turbo for leaks
also check sump gasket for leaks as its a cunt to replace
very tappety on top suggests it needs new tappets and cam- allow £400
check bonnet for a dent in the middle as it may need new gearbox/engine mounts
reciepts for regular oil changes (3k) is a must as oil can build up and cause sludging
worn recaro seats if car is on low mileage is suspicious as well as steering wheel

good luck

False alarm, it was a minger. Engine made a right fucking noise and it moaned like a woman ( Sorry PF ladies, but woman moan ) when you asked it for abit of go go power.

Anyone know of any reasonable FRST's going for sale?

What kind of money are you looking to spend?

I know of a good one, but it's £3500.
