Cut open the oil filter and spread the paper element out to see what debris its filtered

On my fiat cunto.........hell no,its lucky if i change the filter at all.
On my cav turbo lump,during run in and maybe the first couple of oil changes after that but generally no.

Never done it to an Oil filter but after having some running problems i just had to have a look inside my Fuel filter and was shocked to say the least

And have my oil tested as well now and again(handy having a mate who works at an oil company r+d department.. )
