I drove passed his place once after getting my new brakes setup at High Spec. He walked over and told me how much more powerful his Escort was than my Fiesta. I looked at him for a sec then drove off leaving him chatting to himself on the side of the road.

Remeber reading the mag and then seeing the car drive past me so I swung my Iceland Home Delivery van round and gave chase. Was chatting to him for a while about mods but all he wanted to do was sell me Cossie management

maybe he ment long gear changes,,,,, you know,,,, mini cab style change at 1200rpm to conserve fuel
when i read that at the time i actually belived it,,,,,, but then i heard the reason there was no 0-60 times was the laptop and timing gear batteries ran out before he got close but the REALLY bad news was he couldnt try for 100mph time was that they rent brunters out by the hour and the mag never had that big a budget

i've only heard that one before once, at one of the revs 0-60 days, my mate was a big on the large side and his 306td didn't make the 60 within the alotted 20 second time brakcet and the board read "timed out"
how we all laughed
his best time was something like 19.6 seconds, i had a go and did it in 16.7, so power to wieght does have something to do with it
(he's the wrong side of 24 stone and i'm a svelte 10.5 stone 
)

the wrong way round to have a combination when attempting to go fast
bless him though,,,,, hes one of the FEW people in the world who was never afraid to talk shite,,,,,,, even when he was proved hes talking shite he just added more shite to hide the shite the spout earlier
that man could talk more bollox than kevin spacey in the usual suspect
and the amount of people who belived him,,,,,,, just proves that oz could have been keiser sousai
