Default what tyre pressures for 0-60 & 1/4 mile

what tyre pressures do you find are best for sprinting as in 0-60 & 1/4mile

i run 28-30psi on the road day to day

but what would you experts recomend for timed runs etc???

some 1 said to me about 20psi in fronts? how much of a differance will this make

(tyres are avon acb10's road legal cut slicks)

I run at 12-14 psi on a 50 profile 15". If you're running a lower profile than that then you need to be careful you're not running on the rim.

Edit to say thats on the front, you can wind the pressure up in the back to lower the rolling resistance.

M K with your power i would look at gettin some shitty 15x8 rims on the front IMO will get the power down much better and gettin the arse right up in the air , some one on here cant rember his user name but has the 400+ bhp 2.1 ZVH fiesta runs some bar on the rear to hold it in the air and stop the shocks from working maby consider that ? there removable

no he dont

think he means to lock the rear up so it dont squat down and move all the weight off the fronts

MK
Dig out the post on XRtwo.com i put up about best quarter mile times.

I think it was around 10psi in the fronts and 40 in the backs to stop it squatting a bit.

Iam looking into setting mine up for just 1/4 mile sprints when its mapped, so ive already got the arse of mine sitting in the air on rock hard shocks with no travel
