Default bonnet lifters

hi i am fitting a new evo 5 front mounted grs intercooler to my erst every one say because you are blocking the rad the car will run hotter and a few people say the lifters help then other people say they do nothing at all help please shall i fit bonnet lifters or not.

I think its more of a looker than actually cooling the engine down, but it does cool the engine a bit more not alot though imo

I don't have anything fancy. Mine has a standard Rad, 82° thermostat, 2 fans, job done. Never over-heats.

i have made my mind up fit the intercooler and see what happens whith the temp cheers to you all.
