ive over took a skiline when i was 17 in a nova saloon, but i had a run up at about 110 flat out (screaming) just when he pulled out a junction going about 50 - 60mph

none yet,had a couple of scares though one time on the way to traceys i had a twat in a merc ml amg thing giving me the stares and revving up so i thought yeah nice one and didnt apply myself fully.the fucker pulled off the lights like a normal fast car next set i thought ok i,ll make sure i kipper you this time and once i got rolling put him to bed but didnt expect an offroader to be that quick.
and once on the a12 i had a nova trying to push me through road works got the other side and went to see him off only to find the fucker still there in 3rd cos he was turbo'd once i got up the gears i pulled away from him thank fuck but i did struggle alot.that was before i put a t34 on

only one i ever remember was a tatty black mk2 cavalier SRI in gloucester.

we was in a R5GTT running 25psi boost, a car that could bear a mates stg1 saff cossie in a straight line upto at least 120mph.

was pootling along and came alongside the car, middleaged scabby looking guy driving it.

we kinda laughed and booted off, then he booted it too and went past us like a rocket
he was going that quick he had to jump the next set of lights as his brakes couldnt slow him so he jus booted it again.

never sin the car since, and noboy else seems to have heard of it.

my dads mate has a light wight land rover defender with a superchaged v8 engine with staght though zorst and was taken out in it was at a set of lights when mister scooby pulled up reving its tits off so my dads mate said watch this he droped the cluch at about 4.5k revs and the thing left it standing i was like i gotta get me one of theres talking my dad into letting me build one

Was up at a mates in bedford and making our way from milton keynes came across a black CRX, thought whats the worst can happen with a nippy 1.6 vtec

Booted it from 2nd and once i heard it dump i knew i was fucked, left me behind something silly that car. Tried catching him just to ask what he had but no luck, humbled me a lot gotta say.

i had a pretty sweet looking Astra GTE 16v,that was mildly tuned to about 175bhp.. it felt like the fastest thing on earth when i was 18,anyway looning it around on the way back from brum one night when this Rover 600 pulls alongside me,i think fook it,he's having it!!

next thing i know he goes tearing past me like i'm stood still,sounded like a jet plane when it came on boost,fooking thing looked standard!!

In my stage 3 saff, I had a little fun off the lights with a clean looking Nova - just dropped, set of Speedlines etc..... and he pulled on me all the way up to 100.........

Turns out it was a Calibra turbo job, but was properly nicely done, and the owner was a total petrolhead.

Also got mullered by a P1 Scoob in my saff - basically, we came to a roundabout

when i had the sx on the goand was running on all 4 cylinders lol i was going down the motorway and came to the roadworks 50 limit. ended up behind a 330d bimma

i could see him staring at me so thought oh ah, here we go.

dropped to 4th and we both booted it after the roadworks, into 5th at 120 and i was still on his bumper and he was ever so slightly gaining on me, 145 came and the fukka was pulling a bit more and the shonky old sx wouldnt go any faster

not cained, but tottaly surprised by a diesel bimma

i had a little dice up ages ago in the throttle bodied mk6 escort with a lancia delta evo, it was wet so every time we pulled away he would fuck off but i kept catching up. gave each other the nod and went seperate ways lol

only time i have ever got properly done was in the escort against an evo 4, he gave it shit and pulled a fair few car lengths on me, not as much as i expected, but then he was 3 up too

what are the stanmdard lumps dave? what bhp and what litre? 8v?

standard maestro turbo lump is a 2 litre 8v o series engine,single cam,carb 150 bhp,t3 turbo

standard tomcat,2 litre 16v 200bhp twin cam injection t25 turbo
