this is gettin over the top, bmws are good cars...fords are good cars...end off post...fords are more tunable, bmws are more powerful standard...both cars are as good as eachother for diffrent uses...how many bmw owners want to take their car on a track?few. how many rs owners want to drive their car for everyday use? few ( me being one). now everyone happy. nooce can be called a wanker based on what car they drive.

I have never owned anything other than a ford and probably never will but
Ford need to make something new and different to the current crop of everday hacks .have they lost the will or is it just cost, the st is a good car and drives very well but its not on the same level of some of the audi, bmw and even vw in the power stakes (some of them diesels are rapid).
this is why i think people are buying these other makes and who can blame them. of course this is just my opinion and means bugger all

. I have driven LOADS of the cars mentioned, and Cossies always pull me back to them - there is just something about them . I think it is even a medical condition . When you actually own a car of some significance, you will know the passion to which is referred to by some posting here. Exclude the people that see things as status symbols, as they would buy anything branded .

im a bmw owner aswell as a frst owner, both fgreat inthereown ways, RYHS made a good point earlier
but it is only a 1999 , nothing special at all but i still love it
its comfy and drives well ( easily would outdrive my rs turbo)
i love the frst because its fast and turns heads
in an ideal world i would have my dream car an escos and an everyday motor being a e46 m3
i dont think there is anythng wrong with people talking about other 'non ford' cars on here, were all idividuals who signed up here for a reason
maybe you dont own a ford anymore but you must have a little inkling somewhere and a little RS'pec to be still here bantering and comments on peoples cossie and rst's
after all we can be all friendly peeps on here when were not all calling each other wankers like the immature kids we really are
regarding bmw being safe:
the e36 got 1 star on the euroncap, my little brothers corsa is a safer car (even tho it deffo dosent feel it)
the e46 got 4 stars so is stil isnt perfect!!!
and finally i enjoy both my cars for what they are
