People were still sticking with cvh's anyway, good reference point but certainly didn't make any odds, just the way it's done

I personally could'nt afford to sponsor anyone! There's just so little profit in building high power engines that you have to charge full rate for every engine you build, otherwise it would be financially easier and more profitable to work on macdonalds drive through for Ł4/hr.

I feel very well looked after by a couple of suppliers/my tuner, so when I had the opportunity of a mag feature (thanks to PF Dave & Cossymad), they got a special mention. Not sponsorship as per the thread, but credit where it's due etc.. which is what mainly happens thesedays (at least in Ford circles)

Sponsorship has probably had its day as regards Cossies & RSTurbo's, but reckon there were a few 'sponsorship deals' a few (quite a few, lol) years back when the market wasn't as flooded.

Ian@Racetek,
It is annoying and does affect my attitude when other people approach me and say their car is being fetaured and they want some cheap bits. Im sure other tuners feel the same but will refrain from comment!!

im going to use that one next time i buy something from you
