Yeah, i've always had private plates but after £500 it would need to be something really special. Is that what NTE plates go for? If it is and you want one, you know what to do
Suppose it'll hold its value aswell..

understand what you mean about the price.
had it been anything upto £500 id say get it bought asap, but 1k is alot for a plate - but saying that, 1k would have been fine if it was M6NTE as it has a better meaning for your car

Kelv exactly my thoughts
Would it hold its value as an (BMW) M5 plate? well if your initials are NTE anyway lol
DVLA have only a few M**NTE plates left about the best ones are M88NTE or M400NTE (match the new engine) for £250

I'm going to try the owner of M6NTE but the seller told me he sold it to a Mr Monte So I don't think he will give it up to easy but I guess if you don't ask you don't get.
Paul, Damo has M3NTE, plus know of Monte's with M4NTE, M11NTE and M20NTE ahhhhh its like a little club

Go for 88 or 400 imo and save some money & still have it easily readable for what you want it to be.
I don't think anyone Ford orientated would find it hard to see M400NTE related to the Monte car (or most numbers tbh)
As long as they are pretty close and with dual numbers I don't see it a problem.
M400 NTE
M88 NTE
M700 NTE all read close to M0NTE
however: plates like M834 NTE, M456 NTE, M916 NTE etc aren't as easy to spot what it should be.
Go for the cheapest that looks most similar if you can't get it exact.

Mine is the original and the best .... even if I do say so myself
Been offered nearly £2k for it
tbh the M3 on my plate with reference to a BMW and those initials (NTE) is worth close to bugger all IMO as there are hundreds out there
M400NTE looks like MOONIE ... or MOUNTY with a scottish accent
