Im going to the England match this saturday at Old Trafford. Im thinking of driving up but have no idea where id park once i get there.

There's loads of parking places, anywhere with a bit of tarmac will charge you, try get as close to the ground as you can, as they have stewards on site until it's empty, whereas the ones further out leave as soon they can and leave the car park alone

I work on Ordsall Lane (5 mins walk from) and the road is full with office car parks who charge roughly a £5 fee.

Cheers for the advice so far. Wont be going in the fiesta will be driving my 205 gti up there. Probably gonna cost a fair wack in fuel as its got such low gear ratios , think 70 is 4k in fifth .

Gonna take the fuel pump relay and probably a few other things off so i know its gonna be there when i get back

Was looking at coachs aswell but there like a 6hr journey as they stop off at places. Also the trains are meant to be fucked cause of rail works and they are fooking expensive , think it was 70 odd quid to go by train

Go to Lowry centre, park there, hand over your parking ticket when you have a pint in "Lime" bar and it allows you to park for free. About 10 mins walk from ground. Multi storey with plenty of people never had any problems.
