F'ing cars! Think I've knackered my handbrake! :cry:
DId the rear brakes on the E36 today. Bloody discs wouldn't fookin come off. In the end I got them off but one of the tension spring things that come out from the backplate and point towards the hub where the handbrake shoes are has snapped out of its mounting. And it's not something I can just put back in.
Handbrake seems to work but now makes a noise when I put it on. Also got a rubbing noise coming from the back wheel, but I think it might be the new pads touching the disc?
Had no probs til the car went on ebay. Now it's cursed
