Default Are we heading for trouble??

Nealry everyone i speak to are struggling in business, laying off staff etc, no ,matter what the trade, carpets, mechanics, printers.

What do peeps thing, are we heading for trouble as a country as this slow in business trickles down, lay offs, pay cuts, leads onto peeps loosing their houses through reposession, house prices drop etc?

Anyone else around the country seeing problems, I know it is holiday season, but this is so slow that a couple of basses I know are close to going under with staff spending weeks doing nothing day after day.

Personally my little firm is busy, but with low overheads i guess we can run on a shoe string budget

I am just buying a place at the moment, worrying if this starts to effect house prices!

I think we are slowly sinking to be honest, whether it takes a year, or 50 years, I beleive this country is slowly going bust. It has been ruined by the government, who, amongst other things like the VERY expensive war etc, have thrown the doors open to all comers (who get given free houses, money, even jobs) and we have to bear the brunt. I am struggling for work because a bunch of europeans will work cheaper than me, so its putting some, but a growing number, of men out of work.
Of course this is just my opinion, I could be wrong. I pray every day that I am, I really do.

It isn´t a new thing, its been slowly building up over the last 5 years or so.

Businesses cant cope, the rest of the world has caught up in the Manufacturing, Farming, in fact most sectors.

House prices have been at an unaffordable rate for far too long.

Tax increases cannot be justified ie: no noticable improvements in local areas.

Debt is at an all time high, and the cost of living just keeps increasing.

IMO the Country is heading for a huge divide, those above the divide line will continue a rich, fruitful lifestyle, and likely to work around World Trades.
Those below the divide will sink into a slow recession.

Why are so many Brits fleeing abroad? I feel its not just for sunnier climates.

Just my opinion of course.

Was reading the paper this morning and was saying that immigrants will work on building sites cheaper than we do.. So the daily average wage went from £120 a day to just £60 a day

house prices will keep going up althoguh nothing has stopped them yet i don't think even a reccesion owuld kill them off totaly like it did in the late 80's so your money is relativly safe there
but you need to keep up the repayments on it, which is where the buy to let market has fucked over so many first time buyers
could have bought 2 1 bed flats (converted house up and down) for £70k each but i got screwed
it owuld have meant a mortgage of £30k which is othing, but instead i've had to bite the bullet and have ended up with a £180k mortgage which costs me £1100 a month to repay plus everything else
if my brother wasn't paying the bills becuse he's living there i'd be stuffed

and if someone like me, who earns a fair wage, is struggling, how is someone from a forign country, possibly here illegaly, going to be able to afford one?

but look, on the horizon, is it a bird? is it a plane? no it's the Government giving away houses willy nilly to every tom dick and serbian who decides they want to move here

instead of putting bilions upon billions into the war and handouts to these people (if you can cross all of europe to get to england, surely you can survive on tap water and pencil shaving) they should be putting all that moeny into making the streets safer for the likes of us

hang on, whats that? faster than a speeding bulliet, able toleap tall buildings in a single bound? it's Supersherry, leading the fight against people who would enslave us all without a thought for our "Human Rights"
the "Right" to have and do as we please, even if it means pissing on the peole who they have come to fleece with their stories of torture and maining and fleeing from persecution (normally from the people who they've just pissed off after tring to scam their way to a free life over there)

what they hsould have done was found the person responsible for putting the "Human Rights" bill forward, folded that bill right up into a nice roll, turned that sumbitch sideways, and stuck it, striaght up, their candy asses!!!!!!!!!!

WARNING WARNING it's the thought police come to arrest everyone for having a moment of madness and trying to use our powers of freedom of speech, like the gramaton clerics, they will wipe from us the very traces of emotion so we can be herded like sheep to do what ever the government of the day decides we should be doing

what we should have is common sense police, coppers that aren't afraid to catch crims like they did in the regan and carter days and give them a swift kicking when they got leery, judges that should say "fuck you tony b liar, if i want to get this 2 bit no good villian sent back to the country he's come from after commiting all these dodgy dealings and he's going to be kiled to death by having his blood drained from his left bollock, then tought shit, he shouldn't have fucked with the sultans ugliest daughter in the first place"

the list could go on and on and on like ariston, but i'm sure you get the point

Depends were you are in the country,

poverty is a strong word to use, but i know some parts of the country are really struggling

I`m not a racist by no means, but i feel unless we stop allowing more imagtrants in, we`re going to be in DEEP trouble in the near future...
