Repro original dealership stickers and plates?????
Im trying to get some repro stickers and number plates made up for my 3dr cossie but trouble is I cant find anywhere on net any trace of my cossie's original garage...SEB Garages, G&M Alfreds (1936) Ltd, 42 North Road, London N7 9P...original phone number 01-607 9485. I managed to find a new style dialing code and phone number for them but its no longer in use and I cant find any website relating to this company......any ideas ppl????
Cheers in advance,
Stu.

tbh im presuming they're the supplier as my first service receipt and all other receipts as long as it was a company car down London way (for a company called Ogilvy and Mather) are for this SEB place. On the servie invoices it says Aothorised Ford Dealership and on another letter from them its got a 3dr cossie silhouetted in the centre of the paper...sort of points towards a cossie supplier?

^^^ lol fuck me, I work 2 doors down from Athur Prince VW...I work for Archiemoss Vauxhall which up until a couple months ago was part of the same group....Prince group. Altho they've never been a Ford dealership chap, so dont think it'll be your Fiesta's original plate you've got.
Small world eh? Now then, back on topic lol

I guess I'm forgetting that we are talking about dealers in the early/mide eighties - nowadays it's all Lookers, Pendragon, Vardy, Arnold Clark etc.
Good luck with the search - would something like Classic Ford or one of the retro car clubs have info on the dealer?

I try to spend as much time with all my customers as I can helping them where I can, giving ideas etc but I cant spend all my time knocking proofs etc up. Manier times in the past i've worked for over an hour per customer getting a proof spot on for someone, then I dont here anything back. Its time I havent got.
One email with necessary artwork (in a good resolution JPEG) with what is required is all i need to knock a proof up. Its got the stage that where doing jobs like that isnt worth my while (other traders im sure suffer from this as well). If its images that customers havent got then if Ive got them im happy to oblige but editing, altering small low res images to try and make them look decent on a plate is not on anymore.
StickyPaul - your plates will be leaving Saturday as im working late in London tomorrow night
With regards to the dealer plates, if someone can get me a good image of how it looks I should be able to duplicate it. Remember a lot of the Ford dealer plates (like Dagenham Motors for example) had the plastic plynth behind the plates with their dealer tag so would imagine they would be hard to get hold of.

I've had to order elsewhere, wanted to use you- as i have in the past! I know it would have taken a bit of time to do the proofs, but i would have been having two sets made too, and wouldnt have minded paying a little extra, due to the extra time taken
