Fell in love with a 7 FQ300 couple years back, but Ł25k at the time bit over my budget!
Test drove the 8 260 (which is not an FQ) and was sorely disappointed felt like a budget Evo to me

AFAIK, the FQ part happens in the UK. In other words, the cars come into the UK and are converted at Portbury into their FQ derivatives, so the name was probably coined by someone at Colt Car Company in the UK, so could very well stand for 'Fucking Quick'.

Lay off boys! He hasnt said he would take his fezzer over an Evo....hell even im not that blinkered But this is a Ford site and he said he'd rather have a ford! Id rather have a heavily modded Escos over an Evo.......although i admit it would cost a LOT of money to build one upto the spec needed to take on an Evo!
