Default Just thinking..... Is the PF Garage feature a bad thing?

I'll probably get torched for this, but I was just wondering what you all think about the security of having the PF garage. It just seems to me that if any pikey thieving scum are looking for a car to strip, they have an instant shopping list on here, with all the parts of the cars listed clearly

I like looking at the cars and what they've had done but surely publishing such info in such a public place is risky for the owners?

Suppose it's like advertising it to sell though..don't include the numberplate etc? Same risks leaving it out on the drive surely..

Good point though.

Well mine has been splashed on the front cover of a national magazine and all the details splattered all over half a dozen pages inside, so i dont feel its a risk it being on here too, if others do, they can just opt not to use the feature.

Good point made I think mate, I don't look at it very often at all TBH, not sure it's really worth it.

People need to keep it up to date for it to be of interst too, which they seem not to... 1/4 mile table etc etc...

considering most people talk freely about thier cars on this site and anyone can join, it doesn't make any real difference other than saving them 5 minutes searching posts from one user.
