Default Anyone used a Turbo Repair Kit?

My younger bruv (who i met yesterday for first time in 6yrs ) was telling me his T3 on his RST is fooked and has a fair bit of play in the shaft, will the Turbo repair kits available fix this or is just time to bin the turbo, also will the turbo need balancing etc or can the kits be fitted at home?

give it me!!!!

If its loads of play it WILL need atlleast a new housing, if wheels are not damaged then you can get away with marking comp wheel in relation to exhaust wheel and assemble back in position, although i always advise on balancing to be safe. Anything over standard boost really could do with a 360 kit etc

Main thing is cleanliness and take your time..

I can supply all parts if needed
