At what point you get full boost depends on a lot of things, the size of the turbo being the largest factors.
Install the -31, connect up the control pipe to the -31 adjust the preload to achieve the desired boost and away you go...
i would start off with about 1mm preload, and see what boost you get.
I think the max preload you are supposed to run on a -31 is 3mm if memory serves me well
I get full boost about 3400 rpm under hard load
Cheers

you will end up having to use some kind of bleed system to achieve that kind of boost
as that is way more than the -31 can cope with on preload alone
i would set the preload to give you 12 psi boost and then use a 50/50 bleed to achieve 23 psi boost.
good luck

dont start seeing boost till around 2400rpm, but when on boost it squatts the rears, it like getting a kick up the RS quite strongly and holds 17psi right to rev limter at 6500rpm

You could get a old foot pump, lob the end off where it attaches to the tyre & put the hose over the actuator nipple. Then pump the actuator to about 12-14psi & adjust the bar so it slips over the waste gate penny in the closed position ! job done
But anymore than that is stretching the -31 a bit & you might end up with boost creep in the higher gears or snappin the actuator bar or somethin LOL
Also check the boost in like 4th/5th gear when engine load is at it's most !
You could also lengthen the pipe from the compressor to the actuator & give it a little spike in the mid range !
