cool. simlar to the one in ceder point ohio. that one is over 400ft tall & pulls 120mph (i think). me & the missus are going to florida next year & are thinking about gettin an internal flight to ohio just to go on it. im shit scared of hights but thats just part of th fun

I can't believe the Blackpool one is almost identical to King Da Ka, but missing the 'hump' that follows the big drop. That's actually quite a significant part of the ride as it that bit alone is said to be almost as tall as most of the other roller coasters in the world, but purposely designed to be negative 'G' inducing.
It's just as if they went to the manufacturer (Intamin, as far as I know) and said 'Build one bigger than King Da Ka, but we can't really afford it, so make it shorter'.

The Blackpool thing, isn't that just some rollercoaster nerds interpretation of what they might have at Blackpool based on some rumor?
I'm pretty sure the same kid was on one of the Alton Towers forums I used to frequent, was always posting make believe stuff like this, which was always lots of text and a crappy coaster sim vid.

I'd love to say I'd been on it but I'm literally so scared of heights I have problems going up staircases where you can see the floor below between the steps
I've only dared go near rollercoasters whilst being dragged..& I can't say I know many people who would drag me on that giant thing
