hi just before i start this is NOT a sale thread, ive just brought a 2wd saff and i dont like the front seats and im wondering how much there worth, as im think of selling them soon (not yet) for some normal leather reacro ones. i will post the in the right section when i decide to sell them

ive been told they rouse sport ones but im not 100% they are

there half leather reacros with cloth material in the middle inserts. the drivers seat has very minamal were and is also electric

can anybody tell me what they are, what car they come from and how much they are worth.

they are not rouse sport seats mate

rouse seats are either full leather or cloth and have a rouse sport badge on them

but they are granada recaro optionall extras thats it

ive been told they done a few different types of rouse ones. the bloke i got the car of said he got them out of an escort cossie????

still, you can just get the back swapped over and then recovered.

price will be a bit lower because of that though.

If they were out of an Escort, then they obviously won't be Rouse ones, as the Escort needs to have a tilt mechanism for access to the rear seats, and Rouse ones do not have this....

The cloth is the same as the mk3.5 RS1800's (94-95) so would say they where from a simular era hense not Rouse seats unless retrimed

no sierra came with electric seats nor escorts only granadas

seems a strange place for the switch too arnt grananda ones the long bar type 4 way usually ,most fords usually have the switch on the front rh corners

Right, they are deffo RS option seats from the Scorpio 24v Ghia X. Reason i know this is i had 1 a few months ago and they are identical. They are really comfy and are similar to mondeo ST seats.

just needs the middle cloth bit pulling off and replacing with the centre bit from the saff seat, easy to do.

and the rear of the seat swapping too.

The seat has only height electric control the rest is manual....bit of a pain to wire up to no doubt.

They look pretty good to me. Just replace the centre sections as above and cheap seats that would like like rouse ones to most people.

Yes they are from a scorpio, and are the same as rouse ones if you retrim them correctly.

Out of a chance on question, did you buy the sierra with the plate B10CST because that had those seats in.

It was a reshelled 2wd on a J plate IIRC???
