How the feck does one take a screenshot whilst playing a game? the usual printscreen paste into paint doesnt work

This is doom 3 im trying to do it on.

Someone else told me it was f11 aswell but what do you do when you have pressed f11, is there a screen meant to come up or do you have to exit the game and paste it somewhere?

In Doom 3 you have to press F12 and a screenshot is saved in the \Doom 3\base\screenshots\ directory.

It appears i was pressing the right button as theres 13 screenshot pics in the folder!

Only problem ive got now is viewing them, there TGA files, never heard of them

Great stuff

I googled a pic viewer for the TGA files and converted them into jpgs but this programme was a 30 day trial jobbie so ill delete that and download this other one
