Default Think ive just fucked my car...............

Just been out in it had it up to 165mph (on a private road of couse).....and when i pulled up outside my house it had a miss as though it was only running on 3, so i let it cool down then switched it off 5 mins later i went out to pull it on the drive fired it up and got a cloud of white smoke out the back then it cleared straight up but miss was still there

There is no water in with the oil so i am waiting for it to cool down a bit more so i can do a compression test..........

Hope the fu**ers ok so i can goto croft

Right i cleaned the plugs and it runs on 4 again so took it back out and its running fine but when i had the plugs out i done a comp test and these we the results:-

Cyl 1 = 95 psi
Cyl 2 = 80 psi
Cyl 3 = 70 psi
Cyl 4 = 90 psi

So think ill give it another month or 2 on the road then rebuild time before i put the gt30r on for next year......

fucking more money

Those result are a little shy imo. How long did you crank it over for? Did you have 100% thottle whilst cranking?

yip engine was warm .........full throttle.............and give it a good few turns till the needle stopped going up

It is a low comp engine but i guess the rings are fucked as there is a bit smoke on over run to

Still runs mint though and pulls like a train .......

Theres no exact figure but imo atleast 10 bar(140psi ish).
A low comp build will have an effect on compression but will certainly not drop it anywhere near sub 100psi. Cam timing and spec will aslo have an effect on the compression results.

Had the same issue on my car once.

You may have only done the headgasket as to me it sounds like its
leaking water into the cylinder.

Good luck with it anyway
