Default F###### banks

Having a nightmare at the moment. I lost my wallet last month on the day i was leaving to go to MSD for a live map. i was gonna put it on me trusty credit card but obviouslly couldnt cause i had lost it. So i went to the bank and upped my overdraft to get some cash to pay MSD and to get there pay for hotel etc.. Stu and Kenny were kind enough to let me pay half the money then and keep the chip , then send the chip on to me when i paid off the rest. Unfortuantly my car had issues and i couldnt even get it mapped.

Anyways i was gonna lower my overdraft by 50 quid each month to get rid of it as i couldnt afford to lower it all in one month. Went to the bank today to get some cash to tax me micra and i had nothing. Checked with the bank and my overdraft was set to 50 quid with no record of it being upped. Now this is a bit weird as they handed me over cash at the counter for the overdraft and obviouslly they wouldnt just give me the money withoug arranging an overdraft. They have a record of my account going well overdrawn and cant understand how that could happen if no overdraft was arranged as per what the system says. They now wont up my overdraft so basically i have no money for the rest of the month and cant tax the car or nething so im totally fucked because of some mistake that has been made. Im well pissed off and dunno what to do i aint even paid me credit bill yet so there gonna be on my back aswell;

Are you with Twatwest??

They are proper fucking bellends. If they gave you the cash over the counter then you should have the overdraft set up. Demand to speak to the lending centre. They cant allow you money you havent got, therefore it WAS set up.

I suggest an appointment with the bank manager is in order immediately and perhaps he can call the lending centre with you there and work out whats going on.

And if all else fails........... 2 bits of copper piping painted plack inside a long jacket with a ski mask

Make your overdraft as large as you like and never pay it back

If you go into a Bank ranting and raving, they're not going to help you are they?

My mother works in a Bank and you'd be surprised just how many qualifications and skills the clerks have!

Some of them even know more and understand more than the Managers there in the first place

Would you help someone if they had a go at you - I wouldn't and don't to be honest, if they are calm, then I help in every way possible, if they a pain, then do naff all and tell them to ring someone else

I agree with the overdraft point, someone has not entered it onto the system for once reason or another and caused a rather big cockup!

I would also ask that it's not just rectified, but some kind of 'goodwill gesture' for your stress and problems with not being able to buy anything
