Default arrrgggh Essex meet topic..

sorry i had just finished writing a mamoth post and the topic got locked so if anyones interested here it is!

WAS THE DRIVER OF THE CAR MORE WORRIED ABOUT HIS "NEW" CAR BEEN DENTED UP------------------------------- OR ABOUT THE PERSON HE HIT?

Again i wasnt there and cannot comment about this, i have been told that he was worring about the car when only 3 meters away lay a person he knocked over!

NOT MY VIEWS BUT MANY PEOPLE HAVE SAID THE SAME THING TO RAJ & HIS FAMILY WHO ARE STILL IN A STATE OF SHOCK!

I HAVE BEEN TOLD THIS AND FIND IT HARD TO BELIVE THAT ANYONE WOULD WORRY ABOUT ANYTHING ELSE IN THESE TIMES OTHER THAN THE WELL BEING OF THE INJURED PARTY!

PLEASE TELL ME THAT YOU WASNT LOOKING ROUND YOUR CAR FOR DAMAGE INSTEAD OF LOOKING AFTER RAJ WHILE HE WAS ON THE FLOOR
Dont believe everything you hear
I dont think ANYONE could be shallow enough to valve their car more than a human life.
From what has been written about the driver he sound a reasonable enough fellow.. and i bet he feels like shit now!
IMO there isnt even any point talking about this (apart from to alert people as to what has happened etc) as there is fuck all you can do apart from pass on sympathies...
The people who are judging the driver need to get off their high horse! admittedly it was a completely stupid thing to do but it wasnt intentional... he was showing off.. after being egged on by the crowd.. everyone knew the risks ESPECIALLY the crowd (unless they are retarded and think a 1ton pluss car isnt gonna hurt if it hits ya ) yet they still chose to carry on... it is nothing more than an unfortunate sequence of events.. and at one of these meets it would be bound to happen sooner or later for one reason or another. lets just hope people stop showing off live sheltered lives and maybe start stamp collecting.. nothing like this would ever happen then..

Dan was he arrested at the scene? and have they drawn any conclusions or charges?

I really hope Raj makes a full and speedy recovery!

The way i see it is we all should learn something from this. Either no more silly exits from there or if people still want to exit fast then NO parking and NO persons up that stretch from the exit to the roundabout. Then the only people at risk is the driver and the car. What you all think about that?

Standard proceedure for plod with all very serious/life threatening rta,s is to keep the car to examine to make sure it was not a mechanical fault.

Best wishes to all involved with speedy recoveries.

just spoke to him car has been impounded for examination, but he wasn't arrested, the guy is ok he has a broken leg and bruising but is otherwise ok, by the way that i was described the accident it sounds like something broke coz he was just going for second gear IN A STRAIGHT LINE! and it just snapped round and the car hasn't got enough power for that so it does sound like a mechanical failure, but we will know more once the car is examined.

Ouch quite nasty then. With the pelvis he is gonna be in a wheel chair for a while I think.

Well hope nothing serious crops up and just hope its broken bones cus at the end of the day they heal.

Best wishes to Raj and hope of a speedy recovery.

Definately not fair to condemn the driver as we've all left there giving it beans. Maybe it's something we should all think about in the future

Hope the injured guy makes a full recovery as soon as possible

This is very true. Its not fair to condemn him. Loads of people left giving it some, something bad could have happened to anyone, there were loads of people around.

I am gonna slow my driving down after this, I saw it happen right in front of me. I have found out from a few poeple today that some people thought it was me that was hit, this brought it all home even more.

I dont know Raj, but I wish him a speedy recovery back to full health.

Cabrio turbo as soon as that guy got out of the car and walked over to the side of the road the only thing he was thinking of and kept asking everyone WAS RAJ OK its second hand news mate,I WAS THERE when it happened and i was one of the people who was trying to keep evryone back to give raj and the people around him some space to breath, until the paramedics turned up and i was still there till 1.30 AM THIS MORNING,
I would say 95% of people tend to exit the venue with a bit of excitement for the crowd but when something happens like this you have to think now about preventing it from happening again or to anyone else PERSONALY I WOULD BLOCK THAT EXIT OFF SO IT HAS NO CHANCE OF EVER HAPPENING AGAIN.
I stayed round with the guy how hit raj and all he kept asking was is he ok have you heard any news a life is more important than a car.
BEST WISHES TO RAJ AND FAMILY MY THOUGHTS ARE WITH YOU GUYS
