Ive not really been into computer games for at least 10 years (Bit of PS2 stuff, well, just the GTA games, but owt else), cant even remember the last PC game i bought.

Got a decent up to date PC for the first time in about 10 years the other week, and thought id play a few games- CannonFodder n shit from the early 90s and was perfectly happy with em, seemed good to me

Then I remembered about the last PC game I ever bought, which was the first ever Command and Conquer game, so I decided to see if I could find it to play.
Found "Command and Conquer Generals" so thought it must be the same sorta thing, so downloaded it...

FUCK ME Things have got better over the years havent they Its a 2-3year old game and I was totally amazed by it all, the things amazing Best game ever But thats probably as ive not played a modern PC game for so long

So to conclude, if you stop being a computer games geek for 10years, everything looks good, even tho I bet other people think its shit

Theres a website, dont ask me what its called as it was on the home PC, that has bloody millions of old games that they dont sell anymore "abandonware" they seem to call it.

CannonFodder 1+2, Syndicate, Synicate Wars, well basically think of any game from the mid 90s or earlier, and it was on there, for free.

Command And Conquer Generals is a top game, The Zero Hour expansion pack for it is top draw too.

I run it in max resolution with no problems whatsoever

i refuse to believe you can get a better game than cannon fodder
you get so much detail they even have individual GRAVESTONES for those killed in action

i also liked guantlet, nice easy games that make you think a little rather than needed a degree in astrophysics to work out what al the buttons do still trying to work out GTA3

Yeah, this has got zero hour on it too, but not tired that, well all ive done is some of the Chinese missions so far.

Maximum resolution? Ive not changed mine, is it not at max as standard? Smooth as hell as it is, and personally the graphics pretty much amaze me
