Anyone here install sky tv?
i need to know what type of cable to run between the dish and the digibox, will screened coaxial be ok or is there something diffrent. i'm renovating my house and want to run the cable through the stud walls before the rooms are plastered.

I dont fit it but have used screened coax before. I am sure that is all Sky use anyway. Best run two in case you get SKY + though as it uses two cables.

Simple idea get sky+ when they come to install it get the bloke to run new cables leaving you plenty of spare. Failing that give me a pm and ill sort some out and post it to ya if you pay the postage as i have loads left from when i installed sky think i got black and white somewhere

yeah, 2 cables dude, so ya can record 2 progs the same time
be a good idea to run 4 cables 2 either side of the room and just present the cables in the corners like plug sockets, so you haven't got cable laying there doing nothing
