Her clothes don't fit me anymore, they're too big.

Didn't particularly DISLIKE the US Erik, just didn't appeal to me in the same way Oz did. People wren't particularly friendly (besides you 2) but then we did only see LA & NYC. Maybe if I had the dress on they might have been more interested...

I hear what you're saying Plynchy... but did ya ever think, how many REAL NY'ers are in NYC? Some many freakin tourist there they just do freakin head in!! I think they should be banned from going out during rush hour LOL. The USA is soo freaking huge though I've haven't even been to the West Coast LOL.. well except for Hawaii.

Unlike this country where you just walk straight in and get hand-outs immediately .
Rubbish

One of the guys I work with is married to an American girl and they live over here. They both want to move to the US for good tho - she wasnt to be back near her family and he is like you lot - fucked off by the UK

Minimum they need to get out there is min Ł5,000 (GPB) in the bank for credit check, proof that at least one of them can have a job to support them, and that they have a domestic home (not a problem as they can live with her parents for the time being)

Sounds like you are tlaking about Australia Mike
You complete DIV, of course it's different if your partner already has Amercan citizenship you spaz .

See Polly's thread above an humbly accept this .
She has UK CITIZENSHIP you DIV Has lived here for the past 10yrs.... Doesn't have a US passport, has a UK instead.....
I can assure you that if she can prove her US connections, she wouldn't have had the same issues as normal people (as you have proved ) about getting in. If she was not a Yank, it would have been MUCH harder and a lot more money (or skills) required.

I have a mate who has dual citizenship (UK / US), with a US passport and has only ever been to the States on holiday. He was told that when his son turned 16, all he would have to do was apply to the embassey and he could also obtain a US passort for him. Once you have US connections, it is (by comparison) a piece of the proverbial to get in.

The only problem is, he always has issues coming back into this country (despite his strong Norfolk accent ) and they always stop him . Last time they refused to let him in (on way back from the Ring) until he proved he was married to someone in this country . His wife was at work so they had to phone his daughter. How scary was that - having some official bloke phone up and ask you to confirm who your father is, it was only after a few minutes of questioning that they allowed him to then speak to her to allay any fears and confirm that there was nothing to be concerned about . God knows what she was thinking before hand .
