Default O2 billing problems

Anyone else had them trting to pull your pants down recently,

Got an online account,
Latest bill came through £45 over normal average price,
So rings up and they are investingating
Also asked wether upgraded phone i have recieved (free upgrade) can be used abroad
O2 - "That is subject to a £100 deposit that will get paid back in 3 month"
I have never had to pay a deposit to take a phone abroad, and wont be doing this time either.

Ive got a feeling they want to nudge something up my poo tube

I hope you get it sorted mate, I've been with O2 Online over a year now and not had any problems really

Just threaten to cancel contract etc and they'll probs get rid of the extra charges! Unless your phone upgrade wasn't free and was £45 or £50? COs they do just add it onto your next bill

They do appear to have gone a bit tits up of late. Been with O2 for years never any problems until I cancelled my old contract and started a new one. They never cancelled the contract even though I gave them a months notice. Cancelled in Jan was due to end in Feb. March got a bill for £90 double usuall bill so wrote complained etc etc then they issued a revised statement tellin me i owed £19.30. Random figure. So again complained gave them all the reference numbers etc and they admitted phone was cancelled and I owed nothing. 2 weeks later get a debt collection agency letter for the £19.30 so had to go through it all again. Heard nothing for about 2 weeks then get some poxy box thing telling me I was a valued customer etc n here is a privalige card. Dunno what use it is really. Anyways 2 weeks ago I finally get an official apology from O2 with a refund of £24.00 Again a random figure. So they do back down if you complain and threaten to leave enough times.

Ive had hell and all problems with o2 in the past 2 weeks, ive had a 6280 for 6 weeks and 2 weeks ago it went faulty (white then black screen) Reported it faulty to o2 and they initially tried to make me take up an insurance claim, saying that id dropped it!! Then foned back to cancel the claim and was told that even though id bought it online, i wouldnt be able to get it swapped/repaired unless i visited the shop! Spoke to the shop and was told that as id bought it online they didnt want anything to do with it! Spoke to someone again on Tuesday (1 week and 1 day since reported) to be told that they now could sort it out online, but i would have to send mine back first (paying whatever it costs for recorded delivery)!! Was awaiting a returns address to be emailed to me when i recieved an order confirmation, foned em to query this and was told they had made an error and sent me a replacement, was well happy so just needed to get the return address to send mine.... The guy reeled it off and established that it was 2 minutes from my work, and if they had told me this from the start could have taken it there to be repaired! They have basically lied to me several times, advised me to commit fraud, and basically fucked it right up!!
