Dogsmoke, I have the same initial reaction as you, but it doesnt matter how angry you are, you can and will still be knocked spark out by getting hit in the head right. Thats before you take into account the likelihood of knives or worse.

Its now a comon accurance to tie empty cans to the back of your car and when you wonder wtf that noise is and stop your car to look they jump in and drive off!!!

As said if someone come in i would give the keys as you dont know what would happen! Its insured at end of day.

what you want is some sort of alarm that locks the doors, alerts the police AND gives the theif a face full of security dye
easy enough to catch someone covered in purple crap, but can you imagine how many people would be out with the uv torches looking for coonts to batter like they were cod in a chip shop

usually insurance companies wont insure some motors without them (m3) thats why people fit them.
most people i know with them wouldnt have had one fitted unless the insurance dictated it!!!

the police have found it in a lock up not far from where it was stolen
found along side a 530 an x5 and a mini cooper
all broken for bits
probably getting ready for ringing
