Default Old School cars......

Who is thinking of getting one and why.

i have just got an escort mk.2 2 door that will eventually get a cosworth lump put into it.

had to build a garage to put it in and to work on it.

Started driving them when i first past my test and i love the rs2000's.

Lots of people going back to the old Fords and they are commanding very good money everywhere.

the mk.2 2 door escorts are going for stupid money now.

Seeing quite a few on track days too.

I bought my mk2 RS2000 as an impulse buy, glad I did though as it is the best car I have ever driven, so much more fun than the cossies / turbos etc I've had in the past. Restoring her now so I can keep having fun for years to come

Currently on the hunt for a 2nd mk2 to stick a cossie lump in this time

Would love another MK2 escort but prices have gone through the roof.

Looking out for a MK1 XR2 at the moment.

My mate has a mk2 in his garage. Just sold his mk1 cos the parts are getting a little pricey these days.
Mk2 should have cossie lump and all the toys by early next year!
