Right can anyone help?

I am looking for a new car and an E55 AMG has now come into the equation!!! Does anyone know much about them? and what spec they are? 0 - 60? 0 - 100?

Heavy car, not much power for such a big engine. Be good for cruising around more than driving hard I would imagine.

I acually got to drive one about 2 years ago and hell it was quick, I think the fact that it was an auto made it seem quicker for some reason you just planted your foot then were pinned back in your seat on boost style!

very quiet aswell you could here a pin drop at full chat!

They are a 5 and a half litre V8 running a supercharger running the best part of 350 bhp..

My mate has got one and they are certainly a serious piece of kit.

They sound awesome under load too.....


Keep your eye out though as there are some high mileage ones and check history well for clocking.

The XJR V8 is a faster car but not as refined IMO was goin to get one but deceided the jag was better value.

i know someone whos got itits really quick (not as quick as his standard tt supra he told me) but the fuel consumption is terrible lovly looking motor though

what about a clk55 amg look better imo and abit lighter aswell
