Do uou still use any of the origional top hat or bearing from the origional suspension ?
Or is it a case of binnin the lot and offering your coilover with spring cap upto the new mount with the collar on the underside and the new nut on the top ?

sorry if i'm being stoopid, but aren't they eccentric top mounts rather than concentric? if not, what's the difference?
They look pretty much the same as the ones on my mk2 and i'm sure they're eccentric.

Mine are eccentric type.
The difference is that the hole for the strut is off centre with the eccentric ones and the concentric are in the centre as per the rubber doughnut.
Eccentric not usually used on road cars. You realy need to have fully adjustable front suspension to make good use of them i.e. adjustable tca's and compression struts.
