Default saf 2wd cos engine loom question

ok im just about to fit this engine loom into my mates sierra estate

now ive got all my wires where it normally plugs up behind the dash

only probs is i dont know what one wire does and was wondering if anyone can share some light pleae

its a brown with a red trace

the loom has to be mated up to a later loom where it normally plugs up behind the battery if that helps aswell

also i take it i will have to run a seperate wire for the oil light as the 2wd loom doesnt have one?

thanks

yes thats all correct.

actually i seem to remember on some saph looms there was a spare relay that was never used, still unsure what it was used for maybe its the spare realy triggered earth.

its certainly doesnt supply any of the sensors needed to run the loom.

Fuel Pump = Black Red Striped (Thick Wire)
Water Temp = Brown White Striped
Oil Pressure = Brown Green Striped
ECU Diag Light = Brown Red Striped
Rev Counter = Green
Ignition Feed = Solid Black or Solid Red (Thick Wire)
Perminant Live = Red Blue Striped (Thick Wire) or 2 black wires on a 3 Door loom
