Default L6 ecu and 4wd engine loom question

my mates dropping his cosy 4wd estate round today

ive got to fit a full car wiring loom into and management

he has a 2wd engine loom as its a 2wd engine but my question is i have a 4wd loom which would make my life easier as its easy to convert as the loom im fitting is a late spec one so it all just plugs up bar a couple of wires unlike the 2wd which is toally different connectors

am i rite in thinking that alls i have to do is lenghten a few wires on the 4wd to meet 2wd sensors and swap the 2 outer wires of the tps sensor for the ecu to read correctly?

or do i just mate the 2wd loom up?

thanks

Yes the looms are almost identical when it comes to the connectors
Just swop the 2 outer tps wire around like you said

btw personally i would keep the 2wd loom on the car as they have less joins and are less prone to faults!
