Are you embarrassed by your car??
Just following on from one of the other threads:
“Are you embarrassed by your car??”
Tell us what you drive and:
a) If a bird you’re chatting up in a pub/club asks what you drive what do you tell them?
b) Some random bloke asks what you drive?
I tell both I drive an old clapped out banger and leave it at that…I deffo DON’T tell them I drive an RS Turbo!!

Im not embarassed at all to tell people what i drive if they ask.
Infact, people ask me loads of questions about it whenever i do tell them what i drive

I dont chat up women as i have a serious GF but tell anybody i have an Evo 8 320
I am very proud of my car being only 26 and see it as a slightly less stigmatised car then an escort or sierra,
When i had my rst i mixed/moved in different circles so it did not matter

This all boil's down to appearance seemingly, I'd be proud to tell anyone that I drive a performance Ford, weather it be an RS turbo or Stian's Cosworth.
Anyone who disregard's you for what you drive is a shallow cunt and need's to get a life.
The sooner you stop worrying about what people think of you the happier you'll be in life, I realised this three years ago when I was 18!

I tell them I have an Audi and leave it there unless they are into cars then I will say I own 2 RS Turbo's.
There's no point saying to most people that you own an RS Turbo or Cosworth as all they will grasp is "20 year old Escort / Sierra" and in most peoples eyes a car enthusiast is the chav wankers that hang about outside McDonalds in small engined cars that can barely move their fibreglass and filler mostrosities.
Oh and if you don't get the above you will get the My mate/brother/dad/ mates next door neighbours labradors cousin in law had an RS500, you know the one with 500bhp as standard

I tell them i have a d reg sierra that thrashes Ferrari's and a 12" knob, they just laugh. Then at the end of the night i ask them if they would like a lift home. Once in the cossie i give it a big un and for some reason they want to stop at mine

More like "Who avoids openly admiting they drive an Old Perforamnce Ford if asked?"
EVERY person will ALWAYS make some kind of assumption about who you are based on what car you drive no matter what......unfortunetly Performance Fords have quite a bad reputation imo
