Default Testing Ign Barrell - esc cosworth

guya, about to go and check the voltages on the ign barrell

I thing there are 3 wires there and one spare point not used

theres a red, black and another cable i cant remember what colour that is

anyone confirm the colours of the wires before I journey to the car.... and what they do on each ign click?

so I can rule this part of the car out..

cheers

Dave ther should be 4 wires on the back of your ignition barrel

RED = BATTERY VOLTAGE CONSTANT
BLACK/BLUE = TRIGGER TO STARTER
BLACK = POSITION 1 IGNITION OUTLET FEED
YELLOW = POSITION 2 ENGINE RUNNING IGNITION OUTLET (AUX)

Hope that helps .

Regards Doug .

Doug - the first click is the aux, second is ignition. Usually black is igntion live - ie the second click. Above u say second click is aux - thats ignition.
